Slow poison, slow cure
Best viewed larger (so the differences are clearer).
I finally had a little time to do something with one group of the shots I took when I sat with Dad through his chemo nearly two weeks ago. This was his first big chemo dose, and it made him pretty sick. He's vastly better now, but there are at least two more of these chemo treatments on the schedule, so Christmas promises to be as exciting as Thanksgiving.
At this point in the process (which took several hours) I think he was receiving saline and his pre-medications (anti-nausea, etc.), and the chemo itself didn't go in for another hour or so.
Looking forward to the day we have less drastic (yet effective) approaches to treating this illness...
