      Pantograph accuracy issues?

Yeah; using the traditional method of patterns and pantograph routing, the final blocks end up being 3rd generation versions of the design which doesn't help matters of registration. Also, there aren't too many people around who can trim type (post-routing) to get it as clean as one normally expects from wood type.

CNC routers or lasers might end up being the way to go.
