Laurel Run Trail (2)

Cascades on Laurel Run, Parker Dam State Park, Clearfield County.

Laurel Run normally carries a substantial volume of water because of the many springs and tributary streams along its length. It meanders for miles across the Allegheny Plateau before entering the state park, where it is dammed. Then it continues its meandering course before entering a deep, steep-walled valley, where it joins the Bennett Branch Sinnemahoning Creek.
