One of the most beautiful views in the world - I'd recommend looking at this one full size. Sanna Bay is at the far west end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, the most westerly part of the British mainland. The mountains in the background (to the north) are on the island of Rum, with the small island of Muck in front and the island of Eigg to the right. The Isle of Skye is just visible in the far distance. The only time that I had previously been to Sanna was on a very wet, misty February day when I could only just see the beach through the rain - what a difference!
