Olympia milk bar, Stanmore, 1

The Stanmore Cinema Twin operated for many years in the site next door to the right. It closed about a decade ago and the site is now a block of flats with shops of little interest to passing trade on the street level.

 

The shop has its door open, there is a single fluorescent tube lighting an otherwise cavernous darkness and, although I go past occasionally, I have never seen a customer enter (or leave).
