Tourist bus in Havana

Large double-decker buses packed full of tourists are common sights on the streets of Havana these days. In the 1990's tourism surpassed sugar as the primary source of foreign currency for Cuba. Over 2 million tourists visited the island last year; most coming from Canada, but an increasing number are arriving from the U.S. since the Obama administration eased travel restrictions for Cuban-Americans.
