Upward & Skyward
Here's the historical Trinity Church on Broadway and Wall Street which is a US National Historic Landmark. About a century and a half ago and for some time this wonderfully looking piece of architecture's spire dominated the NYC Skyline. Remember, Lower Manhattan and beyond were major ports as they somewhat still are today. Of course the modern era of soaring buildings dwarfed this beauty and well, you can't even spot it from the waters if you tried.
I've taken photographs of the back side of this church the sight of which is really cool yet I've never been happy with the results and well, it's not as if I pass down that street every week. :-(
But one day I'll get it right.
Anyhow, this structure is Reason #2,345,199 why I need to get a super wide angle lens.
Especially considering structures like this one which are surrounded by buildings with very little space to back up into and capture the entire darn thing. :-)
