...from underneath the FDR

Well not exactly underneath but this is one of the portions where this walk along the East River is opened up to the heavens above. At other portions you've the Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive directly overhead.

 

Mind you, this is a crop from the photo below. For so long just like most other folks, I've composed my subjects according to what I see in the viewfinder. But methinks it'll be good practice to once in awhile go beyond that and frame squarishly ( for lack of a better term. LOL ) What do you think?

 

Pictured here is the Manhattan Bridge located just north (not far) of the Brooklyn Bridge. In a few of my past shots you may have seen both bridges in the same frame. 'and yup, that above is the FDR.
