LITTLE CUCKOO Coccycua minuta. A Little Cuckoo was foraging in Mindo near the Río Mindo in the Mindo Valley in northwestern Ecuador on July 31, 2012.

 

The Little Cuckoo belongs to the avian family Cuculidae. It was formerly placed in the genus Piaya. The Little Cuckoo is found in Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, the Guianas, Amazonian Brazil, Perú and Bolivia.
