LEMON-RUMPED TANAGER male Ramphocelus icteronotus. This male Lemon-rumped Tanager is perching at the edge of a forest in the Mindo Valley area in northwestern Ecuador on July 23, 2012.

 

The Lemon-rumped Tanager has been treated as a subspecies of the Flame-rumped Tanager Ramphocelus flammigerus icteronotus.
