Nasa Robledo de Chavela APOD
Image taken on Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex. One summer night two years ago, I moved to this place that has always been fascinating to me. I found one of the workers () already elderly) who helped build this complex in 1964, he and his team made the holes in these antennas and laid their foundations.
This antenna is the largest in the complex, with 70 meters in diameter.
I obtained several photos, since the antenna rotates throughout the night according to the object followed.
It is a long exposure to capture the Milky Way, and at the same time, joined with two other photos to highlight the antenna in different positions throughout the night.
This photo is dedicated to Tomas Rodriguez, thank you for helping to build this intergalactic dream factory
