Ikea Lack Shelf made into cat furniture

    Newer Older

I've wanted cat furniture in the living room, but I hate the tall, carpeted things (cats like'em, I think they're ugly) here's what I came up with.

      This is amazing!!!

I'm an admin for a group called Cat furniture, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

I dunno...my cats are pretty heavy. Are these sturdy?

@futurequeenoftheuniverse - Actually, the shelf says it holds up to 15 kg (33 lbs) but I know that this really depends on how sturdy your walls are. Mine is fine with two of my cats on it (the third cat of mine has NO interest in being up high) and it's very sturdy for them.

If I remember correctly there's a piece you need to screw to the wall, then tighten to the shelf. Check here; www.ikeafans.com/forums/ikea-instructions/21139-lack-zig-...

I like the birds on the wall. Good idea.
