Annual Wreath-laying Ceremony at George Washington’s tomb on Thursday, February 22nd, 2007, 11 a.m., Mount Vernon, Virginia. Lunch followed at the Mount Vernon Inn with choices of Broccolli-Cheddar Quiche with Fruit, Turkey-and-Bacon Caesar Salad, or Beef “Pye” with cherry, apple, or pecan pie for dessert, and coffee or tea. After lunch we took a guided tour of the new Center.
