Sec. Balisacan meets with members of Japan ODA Research Mission.

Economic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan and NEDA Deputy-Director General Rolando G. Tungpalan met with Ambassador Toshinao Urabe, Foreign Affairs Minister Takuya Akiyama, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Philippines Chief Representative Noriaki Niwa and Senior Representative Eigo Azukizawa last August 19 at the Diamond Hotel, Manila to discuss the economic and development partnership between the two countries. Secretary Balisacan also thanked the Japanese partners for their unwavering support for the Philippine government’s economic development efforts, and pledged to support the Japanese government in its endeavors.
