Urban Light at LACMA

Wide-angle shot of the urban light installation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.This sculpture consists of 202 restored street lamps from the 1920's and 1930's most of which once lit the streets of Southern California.

This exhibit is on the street in front of the museum and it was fun to watch kids running around the light poles and people posing for their friends. There was even a rapper shooting a music video amongst the light poles. With all that activity, it was challenging getting a good shot, but I managed to get one without too many people to detract from the exhibit. It's worth a trip to go see.
