      kernow - no objections to the use, but I'd observe that actually the majority of plants are poisonous or at least irritants, and we're quite properly very selective about those we consume or handle unprotected. My favourite pairing is tomatoes and potatoes - both Solanum, in one case we eat the fruits, in the other the fruits are poisonous and we eat the roots, and in both cases the stems and leaves are, in general, not good for you... Oh, and I didn't notice Laburnum in there..? Or Prunus Laurocerasus..? Rhubarb..?
