Seepage Crayfish (Procambarus [Hagenides] rogersi rogersi)

This race of primary burrower is confined to mesic flatwoods and seepage slopes in Calhoun and Bay Counties in the Florida panhandle. They construct complex burrow systems in saturated soil, often producing many small chimneys in an area of a few square feet.
