Description: Format- Triptych. Alternate Title: [Catching Whales at Goto and Hirado (in Hizen Province) and Kishu (Kii Province) with a list of types of whales caught]. Includes list of whales caught. Whaling scene off the coast of Japan showing processing of whales that have been hunted. Foremost is a right whale that is being flensed with the use of a massive on-shore winch powered by many large men. Other men are hauling pieces of blubber away on poles. Whale-hunting by small boats continues in the background.
