NAVFAC Far East Team enjoys summer barbecue in Japan
NAVFAC Far East team members and their families in Yokosuka, Japan enjoyed an afternoon of Japanese tradition during a summer barbecue at the Shunko Gakuen children’s home, Aug. 13. Nagashi somen, thin wheat noodles which are caught with chopsticks as they flow down a bamboo flume filled with ice cold water, then placed into a bowl filled with a dipping sauce and enjoyed, was the highlight of the barbecue.
