I'm at the coast!

This is last night's sunset. :D

Update: this is technically not "the" Haystack Rock as made popular by The Goonies, et al, but is *a* haystack rock. This one is just outside of Pacific City, Oregon, and at 327 feet tall is the world's fourth largest sea stack in the world.

It's almost corny, but Goonies Beach is maybe my favorite beach in Oregon. (I know, Goonies was mostly shot further north, but HAYSTACK ROCK, y'know?)

      Excellent shot.

The last time I was out there, there was an even more awesome, peachy-orange sunset . . . and a whole bunch of people desperately searching the water by the boat ramp.

Okay guys, apparently there's been some confusion. This is not the famous Cannon Beach Haystack Rock that's been seen in a lot of pop-culture movies; I was in Pacific City. This is still technically a haystack rock. I posted the Wikipedia link in the info above if y'all are interested in reading up on the matter!
