Behind the Scenes: Newly Donated Jim Henson Puppets
On the anniversary of Jim Henson's birthday, the National Museum of American History received a donation from the Henson family of more than 20 Henson puppets and props. These behind-the-scenes photos show some of the puppets in the textiles conservation lab, where Sunae Park Evans, the museum's senior costumes conservator, and Bonnie Erickson, executive director of The Jim Henson Legacy, have been working together to preserve these beloved puppets.
