The Presiding Officer and Sandy Mewies, Commissioner with responsibility for Equality celebrating LGBT History month with members of OUT-NAW, the Assembly’s LGBT staff network / Y Llywydd a Sandy Mewies, y Comisiynydd sydd â chyfrifoldeb dros Gydraddoldeb

The National Assembly for Wales is marking Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History Month by flying the rainbow flag above its estate in Cardiff Bay and Colwyn Bay from February 7.

 

The Rainbow standard will be raised across the estate at 12.15 and there will be a photo-opportunity with the Presiding Officer, Rosemary Butler AM, either on the steps of the Senedd or in the Neuadd, depending on the weather.

 

She will be joined by Assembly Commissioner for Equalities, Sandy Mewies AM, as well as members of the Assembly’s LGBT staff network, Assembly Members and staff.

Bydd Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru yn nodi Mis Hanes Pobl Lesbiaidd, Hoyw, Deurywiol a Thrawsrywiol drwy chwifio baner yr enfys uwchben ei ystâd ym Mae Caerdydd a Bae Colwyn o 7 Chwefror ymlaen.

 

Caiff baner safon yr Enfys ei chodi drwy’r ystâd am 12.15 o’r gloch, a bydd cyfle i dynnu lluniau gyda’r Llywydd, naill ai ar risiau’r Senedd neu yn y Neuadd, yn dibynnu ar y tywydd.

 

Yn ymuno â’r Llywydd bydd Sandy Mewies AC, Comisiynydd y Cynulliad dros Gydraddoldeb, yn ogystal ag aelodau o rwydwaith staff Lesbiaidd, Hoyw, Deurywiol a Thrawsrywiol y Cynulliad, Aelodau’r Cynulliad a staff.
