      The Johnston Collection is now viewable online at where you can see fabulous shots of Caithness, which hasn't changed as much as other places in all that time.

      This is very dramatic, I love the way the photographer has caught the plume of snow in front of the plume of steam from the locomotives. Watch "Snowdrift at Bleath Gill." for more idea of the sort of thing that was going on there.

      The photogragher was very well informed off what was happening to have got in front of the snowplough to get such a shot. Would the media try to walk that sort of distance today to get such a picture.
