Discovery space: Think ink!
09 Jan to 25 Jan 2012

Inspired by the artworks in A New Horizon: Chinese Contemporary Art, children in the Summer 2012 discovery space create their own Chinese style ink painting using red and black ink and a National Museum stamp. Children can also make their own name badge using calligraphy textas to write their name like a Chinese symbol. There is also a giant installation that kids can contribute to called the Great Wall of Children.

These photos show the children who participated in the January 2012 school holiday program in Canberra.
