An advance copy of the new book by fragrance writer Denyse Beaulieu (courtesy of Harper Collins, ribbons and all), along with a sample of the L'Artisan Parfumeur fragrance (Séville à l'aube) that was created by professional perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour to accompany the launch of the book -- the creation of the Séville à l'aube perfume is also a central focus of the book itself.
The little black velvet bag contains the tiny sample bottle of the L'Artisan Parfumeur Séville à l'Aube, a contemporary orange blossom scent meant to evoke a particular place and time for the author.
From the blurb on the back of the book: "At a chance meeting with an esteemed perfumer, Bertrand Duchaufour, Denyse Beaulieu shares her story of a sensual night spent in Seville under a blossoming orange tree in the arms of a beautiful young man. The tale stirs his imagination and together they create the incredible -- a scent that captures the essence of that night. This is the story of that perfume, Séville à l'Aube."
