I was fortunate enough to get a view of a lunar eclipse from my back yard in Victoria. Unfortunately it got too cloudy to see the full eclipse, but I still managed to get a view of the partial eclipse. It's really cool to see the moon disappearing bit by bit.
It's a bit tricky to get a good exposure of the moon. You basically have to ignore your meter. I tried some where I exposed properly for the moon, which became too dark to see the wisps of cloud. I tried others where I exposed more for the clouds, but the moon became too bright to see any detail. I managed to get some in between where you could see both.
