NIRCam Optical Module Arrives at NASA Goddard

The optics module of the James Webb Space Telescope's primary imager, the Near Infrared Camera, arrived at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Here, the NIRCam optics module is being pushed into a Goddard clean room for the first time by Stephen Gauss (left), an engineering technician, and engineer Neil Becker for testing.
