Lifting Webb
Northrop Grumman’s James Webb Space Telescope Integration and Test team used the Variable Center of Gravity Mechanism for the first time the week of June 24 to lift the Optical Telescope Element (OTE) Pathfinder and to place it on the high capacity rollover fixture. The OTE Pathfinder is a non-flight structure built to practice and troubleshoot integration and test procedures.
