The Heart of the James Webb Space Telescope
Here is the James Webb Space Telescope's flight instruments, which make up the "heart" of the telescope. They sit in NASA Goddard's giant cleanroom after completion of a months-long cryogenic test in the "Space Environment Simulator."
The gold structure is a frame that holds ISIM (our flight instrument module) and the IEC (ISIM Electronics Compartment) during the long cryogenic test we finished.
