JWST Spacecraft Cone

The James Webb Space Telescope spacecraft cone is currently under construction at the Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Space Park facility in Redondo Beach, Calif. The graphite-epoxy composite center structure will contain Webb's propulsion unit and support Webb's sunshield and optical telescope.
