Curiosity Lands on Mars

A capacity crowd at the Visitor Center at Goddard Space Flight Center on Aug. 5-6, 2012, watched as the Curiosity rover touched down on Mars after a journey of nearly nine months and millions of miles. Goddard built and tested Curiosity's SAM instrument suite, which will analyze the Red Planet's soil chemistry.
