Congressman Steven Palazzo Visits Goddard

GREENBELT, Md. / July 17, 2012 – Congressman Steven Palazzo (far right) is briefed by Goddard Center Director Chris Scolese about the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) that is being managed and developed at Goddard. JWST is the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope and will achieve never-before seen astronomy images in the infrared spectrum. Standing to the left of Scolese is John Durning, JWST Deputy Project Manager at Goddard.
