Expedition 30 Prime and Backup Crews

JSC2011-E-205053 (2 Nov. 2011) --- The Expedition 30 prime and backup crews conducted the traditional flag-raising ceremony outside their Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarter in Baikonur, Kazakhstan on Nov. 2, 2011. The crew members are preparing for the launch of the Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft on Nov. 14. Following the raising of the U.S., Russian and Kazakh flags, the crews participated in ceremonies to mark the occasion. From left to right are the prime crew -- Expedition 30 commander Dan Burbank of NASA, Soyuz commander Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin, both of Russia -- and the backup crew of Joe Acaba of NASA and Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin of Russia.
