Mai, a Black Hmong woman in the Sa Pa village, sifting the family rice at an altitude of 1,800 m. above sea level. Inspite of the hard work and long hours days, it’s a happy time for the community. Spending the day with the Hmong, you will hear a lot of lougther, singing, gossip and stories. Often you will see at least 3 generations and sometimes 4 handelling the many activities souranding the Rice harvest process.
