  • new - lights
  • I do like this crane - lights
  • Pwned. - Sterling K.
  • Yes, I guess, but it would seem more appropriate if the beam ended at the mecha and the other side was basically debris flying around. But of course, I could be a cutting laser or some thing. ;) - opallix

I summon thy guardian of the keep
From the darkness below and chasm deep.
Protect the artifact that heralds our rise;
Let eons sleep through the world’s demise.

Oh, I was implying the exact opposite, Exo.

I know, I'm telling you who I think the real winner is.

No matter what went down, this is obviously an epic creation in which no detail was left out and many parts were used in new or clever ways.

I've heard rumbling about this "contest" - something about pics after the fact?
I have a question for each of the whipper snappers -
Andrew - why's it such a big deal? You remembered it's a kid's toy right?

Nannan - delaying the public gratification without the new additions would have avoided the whole question. You seem wise. I thought you would have gotten this one.

But worse by far is the failure of anyone to remember Brian Cooper's MechaGodzilla!!! What is wrong with you kids!1??

    WOW...now this is a winner.

It doesn`t require a whole bunch of "smack head" talk or photoshop to impress.

It`s beautiful man, i`d rather have this sitting on my table than a microscale "dogs dinner".

    much respect.

Great MOC, it reminds me of the intro cinematic for The Eye of Judgment on PS3.

I agree with what has been said, as in what [Karma] said. However, I can understand the reasoning for keeping it as is, However, and i hate to say this, but it appears that the first two 'turrets' on the floor have been 'disabled'.
    Where did they go?
On the floor remnants of the turrets or something to go along with new mini-fig posses are my only thoughts....

    Otherwise, this is truly insane.

    This is, like, totally amazing!

I must ask, Nannan, how do you come up with/build all this cool stuff?

  13. Nannan Z. 48 months ago | reply

Thanks, I think most people have the imagination to think up stuff like this. I was just fortunate to have acquired a lot of parts over the years to build it. It looks to me like you just joined Flickr, there's quite a lot of good builders here. I recommend checking out the group "blogged by the brothers brick."

    Thanks for the reply.

I have recently joined Flickr, although I had been coming here and looking at LEGO stuff (including yours) for awhile before I had an account.

And okay, I'll check it out.

The big circular droid kind of thing looks like the Bio-Electric Anemone BARINADE from Ocarina of Time. Where you inspired by it or is it just a coincidence ? Beautiful moc by the way.

  18. Nannan Z. 37 months ago | reply

It's actually partially inspired by Ulyaoth from Eternal Darkness, you can see the circular symmetry and the floating orbs.
