On The Road

This is what my steadfast camera saw when I sat it on the road in Columbia City today, the first day of "it felt like spring!"

Well, your camera was having a "sit in" but wasn't on strike, visibly! Interesting how it was curious to know what the manhole cover might mean--it being the point of discontinuity on the road....these cameras are so smart!!

Very creative - like the perspective and really love how the angle of the 'levels' change

      and

Thanks so much for visiting Columbia City with me! Next time we go we will sample Senegalese food, which is one of the many delights of the neighbourhood. I'm looking forward to it.

Daniel, do you think that was spring? No, I'm sure we'll have another day like it soon. Or maybe that will be summer!

Wes and Anna, that's exactly what I was thinking (about the skills of the camera). I didn't want to focus manually, because I couldn't see very well with my chin on the curb, and so I just let the camera choose what was most interesting to it. So much for my interest in yellow daffodils and red houses--it picked the best subject!

Billy, so funny! Perhaps I heard it as a child too much, and that's what's sent me there whenever possible!

I love the way it seems painted. The repetition of reds, the green fire hydrant, and the dotted flowers... Very pretty!
