hello ladybug drawing

    Newer Older

ok, so this is an old-school pencil on paper drawing, you can see my erase marks and everything. and i want to put this out there if you'd like to embroider it or use it as a pattern for applique, but is this usable? I don't know how to make a pdf and I don't have any fancy software at all. help?

selling patterns is great since most of the work is in creating the drawing and the initial file. then you can email or upload it whenever you sell one. i would read up on tips and tricks of other sellers for ideas. there's no need to re-invent the wheel. :) also, think about adding a security layer in the PDF file that makes it uneditable by anyone else. most people won't, but some have been known to modify other people's patterns slightly and resell them online. that's copyright infringement and it's unethical. here's a couple of places to start:

amy, your work has it's own look and feel. it's perfect for a branded product! i think it would be great for you to try something like this!
i used to handle internet marketing and business analytics for a large real estate brokerage, including all their internet advertising at Yahoo, Google, and MSN. this kind of thing sounds so much more fun! :)

You can save any word document as pdf file. Just go to print and than instead of choosing your regular printer you choose CutePDF writer option. and voila! I would buy this pattern definitely!
