This day is a special day for Carinthia. In 1920 after the First World War there had been a plebiscite about the national belonging of regions in the south-ost of Carinthia, which had been inhabited predominantly by slovenians. These inhabitants decided to stay in Austria. Before this plebiscite there had been an defense because the SHS-state wanted to garrison our beautiful country. So today had been a big celebration in Carinthia for that matter, with politicians talking and a huge procession throughout the whole city.
I know this one is pretty similar to the one I took yesterday, but I love this new spotted place in my garden and I have to benefit from such a beautiful weather in autumn. Summer is definitely over and autumn has taken its place here in Klagenfurt. The temperatures dropped from 25°-30° Celsius to 5°-15°, but still is autumn one of the most beautiful seasons in the year. The leaves of trees change their colors and also the sunsets are completely different.
What season do you have in your country right now?? I'd really love to know…
