      My grandparents owned a farm in Yale, TN. On that property was a wooden barn much like this one but a lot bigger. One of the most comfortable, safe and pleasant feelings that I can remember was being in the loft of that barn during a rain storm. My Aunt and I sat in the loose hay right at the edge of the hay door in the loft and looked out at the rain but we were warm and dry and the cool summer breeze brought with it the smell that comes with fresh rain. I don't think that I have ever felt that cozy. Another moving photo from nailbender.
