last month when my grandmother passed away i made the trek to southeastern ohio with my dad. about an hour outside of our destination we drove pass some amazing old cars parked out in front of a house on a country road.
i told my dad that i would love to shoot those cars and in a blink of an eye he wheeled the car around and back we went. there were a few fine fellas standing out in the driveway with suspenders and truckers hats and without hesitation my dad asked if they minded if i took some photos of the cars.
the older gentleman kindly obliged and even said, "well, we've got a whole lot of them out back." he proceeded to lead me to the most amazing junkyard i have ever (evah!) seen.
cars from the 30's and 40's. rusty gmc's. crusty buicks. pure awesomeness. i could have stayed there all day, but knew had to get along.
