Gringo Gulch

Staircase leading up to Gringo Gulch.

Gringo Gulch is a very picturesque neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is located on the steep slopes directly behind the downtown plaza. Gringo Gulch was named in the 1950's when Americans ("Gringos") began buying properties in the area. Today it is a beautiful place to wander through... if you don't mind steep, narrow cobblestone streets and endless flights of stairs.
