Indian River Lagoon Fish Mortality
Stronger together
Our natural treasures – wildlife and its habitats - are incredibly important. We continue to do all we can to ensure their protection and conservation. We are stronger together as we all strive to assess and respond to the large brown algal bloom in the Indian River and Banana River lagoons. Thanks to our partners Florida Department of Environmental Protection, St. Johns River Water Management District, Florida Department of Health (DOH), the local community, along with other state, regional and local agencies. Each partner plays an important part as we work to understand the problem and develop solutions. To report a fish kill, diseased fish or fish with other abnormalities, call 1-800-636-0511.
