diy cineskate

    Newer Older

My version of a diy cineskate. Somewhat unstable with heavier lenses. Works fine with a 50mm f1.8. The idea behind this version is I didn't want to take apart my gorilla pod and have a permanent cineskate. I wanted the option to quickly take off the wheels or put them on.

    • Gorilla pod SLR Zoom (the Focus should make it more stable)
    • Joby ball head
    • 3 Bicycle flashlight mounts (http://www.amazon.com/Sports-outdoors-Bicycle-Flashlight-Mount/dp/B00 5CAILIG)
    • 3 Inline skate wheels (purchased at Goodwill)
    • 3 small wood screws
    • 3 washers (optional)
    • 3 L brackets cut to I brackets.

I used some Gorilla Glue to secure the screw/washer/mount together. I actually want to to build a diy SpiderTrax Dolly next.
