Behind the Orange Wall
Lower Antelope Canyon. In February, early afternoon, the sun shines directly on the wall opposite this formation and reflects, brightly lighting up the back side of this wall. It creates a barely believable glow here that the camera records better than the brain. When I was at the same spot around New Year's, the light was different and this feature was flat and uninteresting. That's the thing about slot canyons: the light is everything and it changes constantly, creating new marvels by the hour.
