I took a little trip to Azusa Canyon to get away from the light pollution in Los Angeles. There was still a pretty heavy glow coming over the mountains but I managed to get a few shots of the shower. I was certain there would be approximately no one out in the mountains on a Thursday night watching shooting stars, but to my surprise it was packed. At one point in the turnout where I parked there were nine cars and a small crowd enjoying the meteor shower and having a party.
