horrific

    Newer Older

I grew up in Blacksburg. My dad is a Va. Tech alum. Although i have not lived there for years I still consider Blacksburg my hometown. I am stunned by today's tragedy. Simply stunned.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

edit: this photo was included in the Va. Tech April 16 archive of this tragic event. It is my honor to be a part of the memoriam. More here: www.april16archive.org/

That is a perfect depiction of the sadness, pain and grief left behind in the wake of the VA Tech madness.

It's very hearthbreaking. I live in Roanoke and we all feel the impact of the shootings, especially since lots of people in our community have graduated or gone to Virginia Tech. Actually, someone I know knew Ryan Clark really well. She was really horrified. My heart goes out to the families.

It was on 4/16 that I decided to go back for the reunion. And THEN I turned on the tv. Surreal.
Went to the memorial and Norris Hall while we were there in August. Sad, sad, sad.

It's been a truly crappy year in Blacksburg.

      We are all Virginia Tech.

surreal indeed. i watched it all unfold on CNN that morning. total disbelief. cried. cried. cried.

the only thing that surprises me about Utin is that it took this long for him to get caught. i remember him from gymnastics. he always creeped me out.

Gretchen was his teaching partner for 9 years (yes, she's a teacher at BMS!). She told me she basically did everything she could to chaparone, complain, prevent. It's hit her really hard.

may i use this photo for an ANTI BSL video? Which is Breed Specific Legislationg. I make videos to put on youtube in light of American Pit Bull Terriers... because they have a bad rap that instead of being on them should be placed on irresponsible owners.
