Mukhrino living conditions
Mukhrino station invites its guests to live in a wooden house, to experience fire cooking and to enjoy a traditional Russian sauna (banya).

The house has two heated rooms for accommodation of 10 person, and a second floor (6 beds) for warm season living. There are several tables for processing of field samples/data, shelves etc. in the rooms.

Cooking in summer is organized on fire, or on gas oven in the adjacent to the house veranda. This room also serves for dinners, and for meetings/workshops.

There is firewood-heated sauna nearby the house, allowing to relax after heavy field work.

Living conditions in winter quite differ from warm season as one need to heat the house all time (firewood heating), only one room is available for living in cold season.
