Sunrise at Sligachan
As we were dashing about the island, we passed the old bridge at Sligachan several times due to the nature of where we going and the strategic location of the roads at this spot. The hotel was closed, so we didn't experience the huge range of whiskies available at Seamus' Bar, unfortunately - but this was probably no bad thing as once you had got me & Pete in there we wouldn't have got out (well, without assistance anyway)
This shot was taken as we were sort of passing by, and there was a spot of rain in the air. No matter how many times I wiped the lens, I wasn't quick enough to grab the shot whilst the glass was clean, hence the rain spots on the image. I need an umbrella assistant a-lá, Andy Rouse.
The trip was very productive, and we really struck lucky with the weather, and it has been agreed that we should go back next year. The dynamic of the group sorted itself out in the first few hours and much fun was had by all - usually at the expense of one of us.
This can be seen on the vlog for this part of the trip which is - here on YouTube
