Stormy Scout Moor
This is another of the 'Lazy Photographer' series, as it was taken out of the back bedroom window one evening at dusk.
I live 900ft up on the edge of the West Pennine Moors and have some very extensive views around the surrounding area. To the back of my house is the Irwell Valley and beyond this some Pennine moorland known as Scout Moor. This has now become littered with wind turbines, or should that be desecrated? You certainly can see the weather coming in, and in certain conditions, the light can be amazing, such as this time when the sun was low on the horizon behind me and was illuminating the moor and turbines which contrasted with the heavy storm clouds over Yorkshire behind.
