Maine Blizzard

A massive snowstorm bore down on the Eastern coast of the U.S., yesterday into today. Having planned an after-Christmas trip to visit my mom & sister, my friend Duane & I took off at 6 am yesterday, to beat the storm. We are weathering it, comfortably, in Brunswick, Maine. Here's a photo of the truck plowing out the motel parking lot at about 3:00 pm on December 27, 2010, taken through the frosty motel window. 16-20 inches is forecast by tonight, with strong winds & drifting snow. After that, the weather should be good for our visit!
